Guest guest
Can anyone go into more detail about hand flapping? My son does this quite a bit... he's also been running around in circles more lately too. The occupational therapist doesn't seem to have much knowledge about it. :-S We have an appt. to see Dr.Goldberg in July & are very excited to see how he can help him. Thanks! --- meljackmom <meljackmom@...> wrote: > Any illness can cause the immune system to go off, > and this leads to > the behaviors you see. Just stay with the > antiviral. Guest guest
, Is your son on the GFCF (and soy-free) diet? Goldberg supports this diet, so it's something you might try while you're waiting for your appointment with him. www.tacanow.com has a lot of info on the diet and implementing it. " The diet " has helped my son, in addition to Goldberg's protocol, by helping him to need less stims. Guest guest
Kristy- Yes, my son is on a very restricted diet... GFCF/soy/and some other things. He's been on the diet for about a year now. We have noticed improvement with his eye contact and attention span. The stemming has never " gone away " but appears to be increasing and now he has even started running around in circles some. Thanks for your suggestion & website information... I appreciate any input I can get. --- Kristy Nardini <krnardini@...> wrote: > , > > Is your son on the GFCF (and soy-free) diet? > Goldberg supports this diet, so > it's something you might try while you're waiting > for your appointment with > him. www.tacanow.com has a lot of info on the diet > and implementing it. Guest guest
, Dr. G usually tests first, then treats for viruses, yeast and then a SSRI. www.danasview.net has lots of info and natural ideas for treating for the first two things.
