Disregard my last post (regarding the pediatric neurologist)! Glad to see

that you are already seeing one.

We tried Keppra and Depakote before Lamictal. Keppra and Depakote did not

go well for us (I could elaborate but it would be a long story). Of course,

for some kids, those meds are the answer. When we started Lamictal we were

so afraid of it due to s- (hope I spelled that right) Syndrome

that we titrated it at about half the normal rate to decrease the likelihood

of side effects. It went gloriously well.

I would be relieved and go with what Dr. Goldberg said... he certainly has a

good feel for this type of thing.

Now hurry and get your paperwork filled out (easier said than done, I know)

and get it back to them and ask if you can get onto a list for

cancellations!
