Hi shoshanahd,If you are in the US. Contact your local health department. Many have nurse practitioners and/or doctors to see patients and charge on a sliding fee. They are also fairly knowledgeable about other clinics and programs in your area.

Hi there and welcome to the group. If you have a health clinic in your town, use it by all means. Most of these are great. Also, lower income people with no insurance can get help through the drug companies to get their meds. Try here, www.pparx.org., Co-Moderator To: asthma Sent: Tuesday,

Subject: No Insurance Coverage

I don't have and can't afford insurance that will cover my asthma. All doctors seem to want an office visit and breath test on top of meds monthly. I can't afford this. Any idea where I can go to get meds and visits cheaper? Anyone go to a health clinic or something? Thanks!
