For us on Medicare they also keep back samples so they can apportion them out to us when the cost of our meds lands us in Medicare's donut hole toward the end of every year. At that point insurance no longer covers them and we have to pay full price or do without. The samples I get are enough for only 15 days treatment per inhaler.
