Hello all, Quick question after opening a letter from my surgery this morning stating as of jan 2012 asthma meds will no longer be in use due to discontinuation of them (Ventolin and purple ones mainly affected) however they will do everything they can to keep patients up to date with updates they have suggested buying them offline which I am extremely reluctant to do due to not knowing whats in them I have spoken to the pharmacist and faxed him a copy and he has not heard of anything happening with asthma meds he knows that the clinics will cease and will be up to the drs to take care of that side of the medical things after speaking to the drs who said yes it's right do you think there has been a miscommunication somewhere along the lines?? I can't believe they would be allowed to do it when I spoke to the dr he said they would give it to us at a charge of £40 each device we need which is a huge cost as I recently left my job due to poor health and getting very little income at the moment.
