, You need to go to the school principal and have a talk about their asthma and needs. If the kids are old enough, and at 14 your daughter is, they need to be carrying an emergency inhaler on them at all times. Med rules cannot prevent this as long as they have notes from their doctors that they must have them. There also needs to be rules about physical activity. Running a mile with uncontrolled asthma doesn't cut it. I'd be more than mad at the attitudes in that school. The secretary at our school asks my kids "what do you want me to do?" when their asthma kicks in. They finally have a school nurse on Tuesdays only.My 14 yo daughter has passed out in gym class for running the mile and there was a bunch of kids around her and the teacher didn't know what happened until 3 days later. It is sad! G/WI
