Well, I always feel that it is a cold or virus, and the heat just seems to help so much, Usually by the evening or morning I can turn it down, just keep my chest and back covered up, and stay in out of the cold as much as possible. I don't like my apartment really warm usually, but, at times don't have much choice. lol. To: asthma Sent: Sunday, February 12,

I'm glad you mentioned about turning the heat up and that it helps. I tend to try to keep things cool to save money but something so basic is important when one is having a flare and not feeling well as I am. Thanks--

> Hello all,

> I am looking for advice and support really, I am in the middle of the worst flare up of asthma due to a chest infection I have ever had, I went to GP yesterday who gave me Prednisolone 5mg 6 tablets in the morning only, and Doxycycline (antibiotic) I have been using my ventolin a lot and it's not touching it I am now using a spacer in a bit to help me more then just the inhalers on there own as I physically can't hold my breath that long,
