Guest guest
There is a page on the nids.net website for " the do's and don'ts of diet " but it is in need of up-dating. ***It would be great if Dr. Goldberg's office could put together a new list to post!*** Go to nids.net- across the top of the main page there are tabs- choose " For Families " . Then, down the left side of the page there are options... click on " the do's and don'ts of diet " . Remember that not everything on there is current, so take it with a grain of salt. But the basic- no dairy, no whole grains, no berries, nuts, etc holds true. Also remember that when you here things like " no cinnamon " and " no avocados " - that might be true for a certain patient but not necessarily across the board. Check with Dr. G on your next consultation. Or, if you aren't a current patient, go ahead and take the mentioned food out of the diet for a few weeks and see if you notice a difference. Even within the protocol not everything is one-size-fits-all. Each child (and adult) has different sensitivities. Just look at the stories of SSRIs, some react well and others terribly to the same medicine, and even one that didn't work 3 years ago can be " the missing piece " today. - in Mobile, AL __________________________ Reality lies beyond the horizon...
