When i went in the ER the ER doc said "you walked in on your own steam"And since i couldn't really talk but was thinking later, "idiot, i was focusing on my walking", at the time. Even on a normal day i cant walk straight due to having a brain tumor and messing up my balance and my PT firing me. (so i didn't go back to that PT building, po'd due to them not writing to me about changing PT's on me due to me not having a phone at the time)i was so not happy with him. Same ER doctor that would treat my migraines and he doesn't believe in that pain, with me anyways.Thank You for that advice in typing things out before hand. G/WI

I can't answer most of that, but there's one thing I would consider: since there's a possibility that you may not be able to talk during an emergency, take some time NOW to write down the things that you would want to say, so that you can just point if you need to get something across. Maybe type them up on your computer and print it out in large type.
