OK, so it didn't last long! I am down to 2mgs of preds for the first time in years and was eagerly awaiting tomorrow when I could actually stop them. Alas it was not meant to be, over the last week my breathing has deteriorated, my peakflow down to 190 and my wife threatening to hog tie me and drag me kicking and screaming to the local Shaman, or doctor, which she reached first!

So tomorrow I will be back on 30mgs of preds, again! Up to 40mgs if no better after a day or so. If that doesn't work then it'll be time for a vacation in the local pill factory once more! Ahh well!

Personally I blame this prolonged autumn we're having in the UK, mild temperatures and bucket loads of rain! Everything is wet, soggy, mushy and `orrible! Lovely weather for respiratory conditions!

Maybe it's time to emigrate to the North Pole and become one of Santa's lodgers . . .
