On my last skin test that I had, they didnt even use an actual needle...it was relatively painless! They have what looks like lancets that they use for diabetes sugar testing and theres a drop of the specific allergen in it. They touched it to my skin enough to feel a minute prick (kind of like a pin stick or needle stick for those who sew). That was it...then we waited for any reaction or lack thereof.

Willow, has sworn by honey for years and years to help him with colds and allergies. About a year and a half ago after he would eat honey butter in restaurants, sometimes he noticed some dry heaves. At first it was a once in a while thing...but then it got to be every time he ate honey. I finally convinced him to stop eating raw honey and go tell his doctor. The doc prescribed him some antihistamine and told him the same thing I did....that he is allergic to the honey now. You arent alone....:-)
