Guest guest
Hi Kathy, I think canned is better than kibble, and "whatever you are eating" is probably even better, assuming you don't eat Mcs every day {LOL}. For dogs, as well as us, raw is the way to go. Raw Meaty Bones keep their teeth nice and clean, as well as giving them a bit of a work out and some enjoyment. I know it's rather a strange concept at first - after years of being told that you NEVER give chicken bones to a dog, we learn that RAW chicken bones are perfectly acceptable, and "a balanced diet" (in a pretty bag) is a lot of old rubbish. I joined a raw feeding list, and was on there for a year before a friend gave me some raw chicken necks and told me to get on with it. My dogs have never looked back :-) Cheers, and the K9's >Thanks alot .. I never would have thought to check her for lumps etc. I have not up to this point been feeding her raw diet - don't really know much about it. I feed her alot of canned dog food like Pedigree and she also helps herself to what ever I am eating.
Guest guest
Cooked bones sliver. Raw bones rarely if ever do. Pam ======================== ---> Actually, the RAW bones are softer and easier to digest. I'd bet you never > " regularly " fished a raw chicken bone out of any GI tracks.
