Hi Mike and all,Haven't been able to write in for a couple of months and will explain in a different e-mail.Just a thought about breathing problems .... When I was in my early 30's all of a sudden I found it very difficult to breathe and eventually went to an ENT that did special sinus x-rays (I think) and found that I had polyps that were large and preventing me from breathing. It was a very risky surgery since the polyps were very close to my brain and thankfully all worked out well. Never breathed so well as I did for the following year or so but then polyps grew back again. Have been relying on Nasacort for the past 30 or so years .....Sharon From:"CHIP CHAPMAN" Subject:Re: Re: breathing question; It could be seriousDate:March 26, 2012 3:39:33 PM EDTTo:"asthma " <asthma >Hi Yep 1955 was a GREAT year! I was born like a shining star into this dark and dreary world . . . . . . well, sort of!Anyway, have you considered arranging a rhinitis test? Recent medical thinking has concluded that ALL asthmatics and people with assorted respiratory conditions should also be treated for rhinitis as it has been discovered to be a `trigger' in many chest complaints!Just a thought. My grandson had terrible troubles with his nose and his breathing until my daughter shoved the WHO notification about rhinitis under the docs nose! Now his nose is kept clear, his chest has been hugely better and his asthma almost non existant! Poor chap, he's only now 4 yrs old.
