--I'm fairly new at learning about asthma, but I learned something today that might help you decide on what action to take. Today I asked a nurse (a free phone service from my health insurance company) how to tell if someone is in respiratory distress. She said that difficulty breathing puts symptoms in that category.

When you can contact your doctor, be sure to mention the back pain.I hope someone here with more experience than I have can advise you further.Sunday is a difficult day to decide on what action to take. I don't know whether you would normally call your primary care doctor or go to an emergency room or ???

I hope everything goes well for you and your daughter. Let us know what happens. If 1955 is your birth year, it's the same as my older son's.Judy K
