From what I understand there is specific Marijuana grown for Asthma.  Now I do not know much about this, the how’s and whys.  They also have a special type of pipe -  for lack of better words, that mists the marijuana much like those mist cigarettes, therefore not getting the smoke only the chemical that assists with the asthmatic’s.   Now I do not live in one of that states that legalizes this.  I have know that they can prescribe this not just for asthma but other conditions.   It is interesting to say the least. Let me introduce myself, my name is Lori and I have had asthma since Mt. St Helens blew.   It has been under control except for the last two years and with finally some light the reason for its flare up has been allergies.  I have and continue to use alternative therapies with western medicine to provide relief. I do “ti chiâ€, drink mullein tea to name a few along with my rescue inhaler and advair and my allergy pill. I have taken many prednisone burst which we all can agree is not any of our favorites. There is a young man as a defendant on right now and long story short, he lives in California and has a " card' that gives him legal permission to grow marijuana. He claims smoking it is good for his Asthma, as it opens up the bronchial passages.Is this for real? Has anyone EVER heard that an Asthmatic can smoke marijuana as it opens up the bronchial passages?Peace,
