If it were me I would go to the ER, I wouldn't wait anymore if it starts again, and is bad. To: asthma Sent: Thursday, December 1, 2011 6:59 PM Subject: I need help with my cough please help i get better for few days then worse again

i have been sick for over a month got sick in october and i never got better, i saw doctor and all and got antibiotics and they did not work so called back and got more antibiotics then i ended up in the ER cause i hurt myself from coughing. so the second antibiotic worked i stopped coughing.the infection was in my left lung. but then the wednesday before thanksgiving i was resting on leftside as i thought i was better but then all of a sudden i started coughing so much that i ended up shaking inside scared me real bad. all my friends said that i had pneumonia and i started to believe that to based on my symptoms. then after the shaking part i felt better and was happy that i was better. then on monday morning i woke up and was worse again i started coughing and my cough was hoarse and junkie, then tuesday i woke up again was all hoarse, junkie and was chesty u could tell the cough was in my chest, last night i coughed a good bit then today i seem better.

so this is twice now that i seemed better for a few days then all of a sudden i get worse again. idk what to do. idk if it is the pneumonia still or if it my uncontrolled asthma acting up. i was going to see how i was till monday then if worse or no better then was going to call the lung doctor and asked to be seen and demand to be treated.

so why do i get better then get worse? and should i call the lung doctor or let it go?

P.S. i am half tempted to go to the lung doctor and demand i get my asthma treated
