Thank you for informing us Judy. The first incident you mentioned also happened to me through AOL and it took some time until AOL straightened it out. My concern is that stupidly I not opened one e-mail which happened to be the one for Viagra but I then opened up the other one where her e-mail was capitalized. Now I am concerned that by my opening both of them that they may hijack my aol e-mail address once again. My other address is through Verizon and have never had such problems and also belong to some other Sjogren's groups. It's the AOL and Yahoo groups that always seem to be spammed. I belong to another carefully managed support group. Here are two items that crept in to the mail several times. In each case, a hacker hijacked the email address of a real member and submitted fake emails in that person's name.The first was a sales pitch for a product that shall remain unnamed here. The second was a letter claiming that the sender, "Susie," on vacation in Spain was robbed and stranded in a hotel that was holding her passport. Of course, "Susie" asked people to send her money.
