Guest guest
my daughter was followed by an endocrinologist from 5 to 8 due concerns of early puberty and was discharged at 8 because puberty is now considered normal at 8. That was 5 years ago now. She started her period at 10 and hasn't grown since- she is 4'8 " . She wants to be 5' so bad. I wonder if women are going to be shorter now that puberty starts so early. > > * > > > Girls hit puberty earlier than ever, and doctors aren't sure > why. <http://usat.ly/gGlEEs> > > Girls are maturing faster than ever and, for reasons doctors > don't completely understand, hitting puberty younger than any > generation in history. Guest guest
Dr. JM, is there a chance that Calcium-D-Glucarate would help w/my daughter's heavy, prolonged periods. We've put her on bcp's to regulate her periods. We did a trial off after a year w/o improvement. > > > > * > > > > > > Girls hit puberty earlier than ever, and doctors aren't sure > > why. <http://usat.ly/gGlEEs> > > > > Girls are maturing faster than ever and, for reasons doctors > > don't completely understand, hitting puberty younger than any > > generation in history. Guest guest
My NT youngest daughter was 3 when she started to develop breast buds and pubic hair .. She went through test after test ... nothing. The endrocrinologist suggested we change to non-hormone foods/milk and do away with her hair grease (it had growth hormones in it ... sigh) . (at the time we were not treating autism with gfcf stuff etc ... She stopped developing ... She is typical now ... She is 11 and just starting to develop ... and no cycle yet. I think you are right ... It is the crap our kids are exposed to so young ...
