Does anyone know if seeds are ok for our kids? I found a bread with no

offending ingriedients (i.e. no soy lecithin, no milk, no whole grains)

but it does have poppy seeds, sesame seeds, and sunflower seeds. I

haven't noticed an immediate reaction to eating the bread but I wonder

if it could be contributing to some of my sons chewing...etc. Jerri

Sunflower seeds are high in folic acid... they make my

fingertips tingle but don't seem to affect the chewing

desire. My folic acid is high and B12 was low...

somehow that's related because you're not supposed to

supplement folic acid if you have pernicious anemia.

(I don't have pernicious anemia, just most likely

anemia of chronic infection.)

It takes about two years to deplete your liver of B12

in chronic infection, but prior to levels showing low,

you can actually start feeling symptoms. And man, I

tell you, when it was really low, I felt like I was

about on the verge of psychotic, and extremely ADD. :)

However, I can't relate the chewing to B12 or folic

acid, but I'll get some sunflower seeds and try it out

for ya, lol. Always up for a test. Will let you know

in a few days. :)

+++Hi there. May I please request that you include more than one question in

your messages - our volume of messages are very high.

If you soak seeds properly you can any of them, however they are very hard to

digest anyway. Only consume 1/8th cup per day.
