Just in case it helps someone else. I think my Famvir/acyclovir theory

is wrong. I just found out the lady that works with my son gave him

regular peanut butter yesterday and that was why he was so gonzo last

night. He does ok on Skippy. Now I have to retract my email to Dr. G. My

son is getting more and more out of it sensory wise with the chewing on

things and yesterday he had a twitch going for just a little while. I do

think it might be strep. We are waiting for the lab results. Thanks to

you , once again. I love your posts and how you explain how you

felt too as a child. My son does try to scratch the back of his throat

sometimes and I've got him sticking a pencil in his ear. It all makes

sense when you explain how you felt. I'm sure a lot of behaviors we

consider bizarre in society can be explained medically. My sons iron

levels got in the normal range and Dr. G has me giving him 1 1/2 tsp. of

Feosol every other day now but somedays I forget and this could be the

problem too, like you mentioned. I'll start giving it everyday again and

see if it this helps. Jerri

Hi Jerri -

I knew there was a reason I relive some of those

freaky experiences! And how comforting it is to know

I wasn't the only one (being I never found anyone

during those years that experienced them, too, which

made me feel like a certifiable freak!) ... although I

wouldn't wish it on another child just so I can have

company. :)
