Hi Caroline,

Still with us I see... ;-) I am glad the hurricanes didn't blow you

away. With every glass of water you drink you add in the juice of 1/2 of

a lemon it will be enough. This is a slow process. It takes a lot of

time to get rid of all the mucus in the body and to dissolves it from

each and every cell. It sort of becomes a way of life. As for lemon

water not beig ideal when you are out an running about, well why not? We

use the large liter bottled water bottles that you buy in the store,

fill them with distilled water and add in the juice of the lemons. Then

we take them with us so we have water to drink while driving or when we

go shopping. Liter bottles or half liter bottles, either way works. Just

a thought.

Hi Caroline, Assuming you travel by car, how about filling up some individual bottles with water and lemon juice and putting half of them in the freezer. In the morning, grab the frozen ones, plus the other half of the batch and put them in a cooler in the car. Every time you go into a store, grab a bottle or two. Extra effort, I know, but it might work.... and the K9'sThe why not is because I am out ALL day...and I am in and out of stores (on average I cover anywhere between 2 to 10 stores per day for my work)...and on top of everything else I have to remember to take with me in the morning...including my paperwork...my computers (I have two that I use for different projects)...my cell phone...and whatever else I might need for whatever is going on...adding water with lemon that I have to judge how much I will need to take for that particular day just seems like I know what will happen because just remembering to bring regular bottled water with me each day gets taxing

Caroline,

Simple solution... put all or part of the stuff you need for work in the car at nite... including a cooler (with ice) with your bottled water, take a lemon or several - cut in half and put in ziplock bag in cooler also. You can add your lemon when you get a bottle out. Then you have less to do in the a.m.... I've found also freezing a bottle or two of water works great to keep the small cooler cold.

Plus on top of everything else...I have to make sure that my son has everything HE needs to

go to school...mornings are pretty hectic here...

Although I know that this is a choice...I do find I drink a lot of water in the morning and a TON in the evenings...because some of my work days entail me taking about 4 to 5 hours in a store where I don't stop at all...I am so busy I forget to even stop and get a drink of water but boy oh boy...when I do stop...I guzzle down water until I am no longer thirsty. I am thinking maybe if I making a check off list of all of the things I know I will need each morning...hmmm...something to think about...

Thanks Don...and thanks for the well wishes...the last hurrican really was nothing for us...it hit much furter north...we had some tropical storm winds...but being as I live in a cave with all of my windows boarded up...I wasn't overly concerned...I will, however, be taking the boards down probably next weekend when I can convince my father in law to come out and help me with them. Then, hopefully life will resume back to normal...and I need to get my house pressure washed and then I need to paint it...so it will be loads of fun!!

thanks again Don...it is much appreciated.

I would LOVE one of those...but in my van...if there is no power...then the lighter plugs don't work...so no such luck to use one of those...or I would have had one many moons ago. Great idea though for those who do have this ability!!

Caroline

Just FYI....Bed, Bath & Beyond has a cooler which I just bought for $30 which plugs into the car cigarette lighter and either cools or heats as you wish. Might be useful here....
