Hi Artondra,It is nice to hear from you. We are still a loving and close group. I am sorry to hear you are having issues. This seems to have been a hard year for us all. The weather has been completely weird. At least I am blaming mine on the weather. I have been on and off the fence for weeks now myself. It looks like I will be heading to the spa myself before the weekend is over. YAY! I am thankful that I made it through the holiday at home with my family. It has become tradition for me to spend my birthday there, but I refuse to give my lungs any more of my holidays! LOL. I tried your link, but it didn't work. Your project sounds interesting. I would like to check it

Hello,

Haven't posted in a while, because I've been going through a bit including several hospitalizations for my Asthma. I'd been symptom free almost 5 years after starting Advair and Singular combination. Then this year, I had all sorts of issues, including aching in my lungs. I'm just giving some thanks that right now aside from a little but of congestion I'm doing better. Just wanted you all to know that I am still around. I used to talk to some of you quite a bit and check on you from time to time when you said you weren't feeling so well. I really missed the friendship. Especially, after loosing a friend suddenly this time last year to Asthma. I was totally devastated and I still am. I'd wanted to interview her for a project I'm doing regarding Asthma but we never had an opportunity to get together and she passed away suddenly last year two days before Thanksgiving. She was loved and is missed by all including her family. She left behind

several young children and her husband. Although she is gone she is not forgotten. And, I hope to keep her alive in spirit through this project I'm working on through my photography. You can read about my work at http://www.artondrahallphotography.com/the-asthma-photo-project.html. Basically, I'm trying to photograph people who have Asthma and have them talk about their lives and what it is like living with Asthma. My hopes are to raise money to donate to a charity whose work will one day find a cure for Asthma. I am considering donations to the American Lung Association, but then I've come across a few support groups that are raising Asthma Awareness via networking and research. So far, I'm the only participant in the project and I'd like to get more people on board and eventually start an interactive website that will update with

current medical, lifestyle and other health information. Anyway, I didn't want this message to get political or sound like a marketing gimmick. This is just me stepping out of the shadows and trying to positively contribute to making people's lives better. With that said, I want each of you to have the most thankful Thanksgiving possible and the Merriest Holiday. I hope to find more time to talk to you all on the other side of the New Year. Anyway, please have a safe one.

Love, Peace, and Blessings

Artondra
