Hi Everyone,Being new to the list I guess I should introduce myself. I live in AUSTRALIA and I am an Asthmatic. I was diagnosed at the age of 3yrs with Bronchial Pneumonia. I am now 65yrs. As a child I had different medications to suppress my Asthma. As a teenager I used TEDRAL tablets which made my heart race. When inhalers were introduced I stared taking VENTOLIN. I have used Ventolin inhalers ever since. I tried SERETIDE about ten years ago for 2 days but found while taking it, if I didn’t take the next dose at the correct time I ended up with very bad breathlessness. So I stopped taking it & went back to Ventolin. Apart from the SERETIDE I haven’t taken preventatives due to them being CORTICO-STEROIDS which along with PREDNISONE are a death sentence. I watched a friend lose her life from constant use of PREDNISONE. Her skin and bones ended up like flake paper. Five years ago I started taking MOBICOSA ( green lipped mussel) for Arthritis.During that time I noticed my Asthma gone. I didn’t connect it with the MOBICOSA. I thought maybe it was because I had gone through the menopause and no longer had fluid retention. Awhile back I stopped taking MOBICOSA due to the cost and went on taking Fish oil capsules= KRILL OIL. For Arthritis. ..My Asthma came back. Last week I watched a news report on TV about relief for Asthma in the form of LYPRINOL (green lipped mussel) A light bulb went off. Green Lipped Mussel = MOBICOSA. I decided to give it a try as I was suffering with very bad Asthma for the past three weeks after having a chest & sinus infection. I saw a Naturopath who put me on high dosage of Vitamin C & Zinc along with Olive Leaf extract liquid. It didn’t move my Asthma. I took two capsules of LYPRINOL as directed with my dinner last night. I slept right through the night without having to take my VENTOLIN. I woke up WITHOUT Asthma! I was amazed! So I will go on taking it and see what develops. Does anyone else take LYPRINOL or MOBICOSA for Asthma relief? Leonie.
