The coughing is so embarrassing especially when I am in a store - people look and think I have a really bad cold/cough. I sometimes announce that I do not have a cold - it's asthma.....and at other times I can't be bothered saying anything. Donna

Question regarding Cough Variant Asthma

I have cough variant asthma and I use the Symbicort (Inhaler).......I would like to give something else a try because the Symbicort does not seem to be doing much of anything. I am really tired of coughing everywhere I go.

I am making an appointment with my doctor to ask about trying another inhaler.......and I was curious to know if anyone in the group that has this type of asthma could let me know what kind of inhaler they use and if it really helps.
