Good question(s) Lynne. When I get the tightness in my chest or constriction, shortness of breath, pain when I inhale, feeling like my lungs are swelling, I also don't know if that's an asthma attack or not. I have multiple problems that can confuse the issue -- pulmonary fibrosis, then the sacs surrounding my lungs become extremely dry during those episodes which makes my lungs become very painful. How do I know it may not be asthma or not is after using Albuterol and my lungs do not relax I'll think to myself that my other problems are causing it. Either way I will try to clear my mind and sit still, close my eyes and do deep breathing ... very slow, deep breaths, hold it in and blow out very very slowly and keep repeating until lungs relax ....SharonFrom:"Lynne Rosser" Subject:Re: What does it feel like when you have an attackDate:April 12, 2012 11:45:11 AM EDTTo:"asthma " <asthma >Could more than a few please explain what they feel before during and how long to recover. How does it feel when you say your lungs feel twitchy? If you get infection in your lungs how does that make you lungs feel?Thank youLynne
