Yes Donna. Panic and anxiety can cause an asthma flare all on their own without any outside stimulus. I think you need to really talk to your doc about just how panicky you are. There are things that can be done to help (ativan and xanax are both good options). Just try to rationalize your feelings as they are happening. I find that if I can isolate each individual symptom and identify the cause and effect relationship between other symptoms it help.Madeline
