As I previously noted, I am new to this list and to autism. I am

trying to gather all the information that I can. I want to help my

son. I asked to share information about her child's

recovery. She wrote that she felt safe on this list. Then she

candidly shared her story. Nothing she wrote struck me as insulting

to or any other protocol.

I am confused as to why this matter has apparently struck such a

nerve. I am still very interested in the protocol and the

invaluable information presented on this list, however, we should be

careful not to stifle anyone's honest contribution.
