Guest guest
It is probably the pollen on the flowers that made you sneeze if drinking it was okay. Astralagus is a good sub for echinacea if you're allergic... Snowkitty, Did you do a complete cleanse.. and were you still allergic after that? I grow echinacea and black-eyed susan's and other daisy-type plants. When I go to cut them down in the late summer, I get a very itchy rash all the way up my arms, sneeze, and get all the symptoms of an allergy. Fortunately, it goes away quickly. I'm really wondering if I would have a problem taking echinacea internally. Have you ever tried? This might sound like a really stupid question, but some years ago I had a tin of dried chamomile tea and every time I would open it and take out a spoonful, I would sneeze like mad, but the actual tea didn't seem to affect me (that I know of).
