Guest guest
I have a son 4 1/2 son who has mild autism/ADHD and a daughter who is PDD (but who is very social, talkative) they will both go to Boces 1/2 day in the summer and I am desperate to find something I could do with both of them. My son is very energetic and both love the water, parks, etc. but it is scary for me since I am by myself because my husband works until very late. I live in Nassau county, NY thank you
Guest guest
When my kids were that young and I was on my own to watch them, we played in a little plastic pool in the backyard. We also have a sand box. They'd draw water from the pool with a bucket to wet down the sand for sand play and rinse off their sandy feet in the pool. You can squirt them with shaving cream too if they crave sensory input, and then hose them down. Arrange play dates for them as much as possible so they will have appropriate peer role models and as a bonus for you the responsibilities are then shared between 2 mommies which makes it much easier. April afternoon activities for the summer I have a son 4 1/2 son who has mild autism/ADHD and a daughter who is PDD (but who is very social, talkative) they will both go to Boces 1/2 day in the summer and I am desperate to find something I could do with both of them.
