Guest guest
I have an almost 15 year old ASD son who is high functioning and doing well in a lot of ways. At this point, he looks more like an ADD kid with lots of learning differences and some social issues. I find it next to impossible to keep him on a GFCF diet because he is away from me so much at school and out with friends(which is amazing and well worth all the years of intervening biomedically). He wants to be like his peers and refuses to acknowledge that a clean diet helps his anxiety. He even refuses to take digestive enzymes when out in public (although he will take supplements at home). Any suggestions what supplements I might try to help with his anxiety/OCD? He currently takes calcium, mag, folacal, vit. C, DHA, zinc and a product called gabatone that has L-taurine, valerian root, L-Theanine, lithium orotatea and a very little bit of B6 but he can't tolerate much more than than in terms of B vit.
