Guest guest
-from a few parents ... but it could be their personal experiences as well. They've always been pretty much on target in the past .... Does Dr Uzler take any form of insurance? How capable is his staff? Are they patient? Do they allow misc things to distract the patient during the scan? Most important,if the patient twitches or needs to scratch are they able to recalibrate the measurements to account for the movement? How much of an expert is he when reading the spects? I'm not aware of his qualifications. We've always worked with Carmen who has trained directly under Dr Mena. I'm willing to build my own opinion of him if he takes insurance. The SPECT scans are pretty important when determining what meds to tweak. I'd hate to have to live on beans and rice for a year to afford one for my son. doris -land Message: 19 Date: Wed, 15 Mar 2006 20:06:34 -0800 (PST) From: Barb Katsaros <barbkatsaros@...> Subject: Re: Re: SPECT scan Hi, Doris! You've heard odd things about Dr. Uszler? We have had very good experiences with him. He sat down with us, before and after the spects, and was very nice about answering questions, etc. Just thought I'd tell you some positives about him. I can't say any negatives, to tell the truth.
