Guest guest
Hi, I am learning more about P.A.N.D.A.S lately and wondering what a DAN Doctor's protocol is for assessing and treating it? A friend of mine is taking her son to a Pediatric Neurologist at Children's Hospital of Detroit who treats it, but the frustrating part is WE have taken our son to this same Neurologist and he is very traditional medicine--not into DAN protocol at all, and didn't know what the Anne Connelly bloodwork was, etc. So I am wondering if anyone has done a workup of this sort with their child in either/both models and what the differences are? Is the traditional doc more narrow in their diagnosis of P.A.N.D.A.S? I am hearing a child may not test positive at a certain age, but then later actually test positive, and that some may not have certain antibodies...all kinds of things. Please advise. Thanks!
