Some people have found that rubbing dmso on the joints really helps pain.Another natural substance is boswellia either taken in pill form or as frankincense rubbed on sore areas directly. For bone loss it is recommended to do light weight training ,but with lyme you wont want to do too much as it will exhaust you There are some great books on stretching out there.I believe one is by Bob .It has diagrams to show how the stretch is to be donejanOT: Hip/thigh pain & hand/joint pain Posted by: "tim2buk" tim2buk@... tim2buk Date: Fri Jan 20, 2012 5:40 am ((PST))Just wanted to get some ideas on how to relieve severe pain in 2 parts of my

body. I've had chronic pain for over 25 years now, but the latest episodes have really brought me to the brink. I went to my doctor because I have a lump or swollen part right on the front of my thigh where it bends. I didn't know if it was the muscle or the bone. The doctor said trochanter bursitis & sent me for an x-ray. Well, it's not bursitis. Nothing shows except some bone loss. When I try to walk, the hip/thigh area hurts instantly. Sometimes when I am just sitting, I get spasms so bad in my thigh. It's also affecting my knee because it hurts too. I want to exercise, but I don't know if it's bad to keep forcing it. I've done some stretches for it, but am not sure if they're the right ones. I've been to so many massage therapists in the past & never really got any relief. I don't have a rife machine yet, so does anybody have similar pain there & what did you

do to help it? The other severe problem is my right hand. The middle finger, ring finger & pinky feel swollen when I bend them & it is excruciating to squeeze a wash cloth, sponge, etc. Sometimes the pain in the joints of the hand just throb. I was told to get a cortisone shot, but didn't want to because it suppresses the immune system & I don't need that with lyme. Plus they don't fix the problem. The problem is, how do I know if it's arthritis or lyme? I can't keep getting x-rays of my whole body. Does anyone have similar pain & what do you do to help relieve it? Any responses will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.Susie"Im not trying to counsel any of you to do anything
