Guest guest
Hi Theresa: Thanks you so much for keeping up on the latest research on this topic. I love your posts. Both my son and I have ADHD and the majority of the health symptoms of ASD, he is also borderline Aspergers. Navigating doctors, supplements, research, and getting through the day can be exhausting. But especially frustrating watching your child experience it and not feel the burden for passing it on. We are both on LDN and are SO appreciative for this amazing drug! I believe, just as Dr. McCandless does, that ADHD is on the spectrum but cannot find any empirical evidence of this. I have read all of the research that I can get my hands on but have not been able to find any obvious genetic links or fMRI's with identical patterns (btwn ADD and ASD). We have a great ADD doctor here in Seattle, but he does not see the link between ADD and ASD. For my own purposes, as well as increasing awareness of this linkage, I would love to understand how Dr. McCandless drew the conclusion in her practice and in her research. I would also love to see any additional research that you believe makes the case for the link. Could you help? Thanks! Rebekah
