Guest guest
www.allergygrocer.com is a good place to find lots of stuff. They have a dry dairy free ice cream that you can make up with a blender and freeze but they don't have mocha mix. Cheryl On Mar 7, 2008, at 6:08 PM, jordanshona wrote: > Hi all! Guest guest
Shona, I spoke to the company a while back (Bay Valley Foods back in April of Œ07) and they told me there is no way to obtain Mocha Mix east of St. Louis or thereabouts if I remember correctly. Here¹s a link to their homepage... http://www.bayvalleyfoods.com/ I read somewhere that Mocha Mix Ice Cream has been discontinued, but do not know if that is true. Good luck. I may be able to dig out my ice cream recipe later this weekend... we used to make frozen custard with a regular ice cream recipe and just substitute goat milk. It was good! The cold milk deadens the ³goat² flavor. Caroline From: jordanshona <jordanshona@...> Reply-< > Date: Sat, 08 Mar 2008 02:08:31 +0000 < > Subject: on line ordering questions Hi all! Guest guest
We used to buy Laloos Goats Milk Ice Cream at Whole Foods. Maybe you could get your local HFS to order it? Guest guest
I also just found out that Mocha Mix has been discontinued. It's no longer available anywhere. I would suggest trying Miss Roben's FreeZ Ice Cream Mix. I haven't tried it yet but plan to. Here's a link to it on www.allergygrocer.com. They also have vanilla. http://www.allergygrocery.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc? Screen=PROD & Product_Code=1192 & Category_Code=Ice_Cream_Cones & Product_Coun t=7 I also have some recipes for popsicles made from Darifree if you want it. They are from a wonderful woman on another list so if you want them, let me know. Several flavors.
