Don't Let the FDA take away your child's supplements - Action Alert

Don't let the FDA take away your child's supplements! You have only 2

more days to send in your comments to the FDA concerning their proposed

new supplement ingredient guidelines. These guidelines are part of an

effort to take away our children's supplements in a deal that was

brokered by the Democrats and also supported by many Republicans - the

Democrats are backing this attack in exchange for having pharmaceutical

companies and the AMA back their health care initiative. The primary

person driving this legislation in the senate is Senator Durbin from

Illinois. To learn more and take action, click here or read more below.

Also telephone your representatives and tell them how you feel about

this -- this makes an impact.

New FDA guidelines that the media and legislators claim are being put in

place for consumer protection are actually intended to destroy the

supplement industry and are likely to result in supplements your child

depends upon being removed from the shelves.

There has been a propaganda campaign in the media scare people into

thinking supplements aren't safe through phony science studies that are

purely politically funded and motivated.

Supplements have a track record of being much safer and often more

effective than the expensive prescription drugs that are currently the

4th leading cause of death in the U.S. Poision Control has reported no

deaths from supplements in the last 3 years. The pharmaceuticals hate

these statistics so much that they have Senator Durbin, their biggest

champion, asking for funding from the FDA to specifically look for harm

supplements have done - instead of looking at pulling unsafe

prescription drugs which have plenty of documented fatalities off the

market. If they don't have data against supplements - they're going to

create it. This is unfortunately our tax dollars at work, working

against us!

The majority of kids in the autism spectrum who lose their labels do so

with the support of supplements - this was considered impossible 10

years ago, and parents today are still being told by mainstream medical

professionals that there is no hope for dramatic improvement for young

children diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder.

The Alliance for Natural Health provides information about this issue

and automated links that will enable you to easily and quickly share

your thoughts with the FDA and your elected representatives. Click here

Please share this information with everyone you know, friends,

relatives, local and on-line groups you belong to, internet forums.

URGENT PETITION TO SAVE DIETARY SUPPLEMENTS

http://www.drhotze.com/petition/

Help Us Get 1 Million Signatures to Congress and the FDA!

Recently, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued draft

guidance for complying with the New Dietary Ingredient (NDI)

notification protocols contained in the Dietary Supplement Health and

Education Act (DSHEA) which was passed into a law in 1994. The FDA

drafted this guidance because it was mandated by the recent Food Safety

Modernization Act. If fully implemented, this could ban all dietary

supplements in the United States that were formulated after 1994.
