Hi ,It will only get better. Yes, it is a roller-coaster, and yes, sometimes a two-step, where you progress two steps forward, then one step back, but with careful attention, patience, and the belief that this is a tunnel, not a cave, you will get better over time, along with your family. There are so many experienced Lymies and Lymie-parents here and also at: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/lymestrategies/?yguid=408502367 These two groups have helped me find the right things for my particular case of Lyme & Co (each one is different) and I'm not sure I would have survived without them. (After 45 years of Lyme and pain and truly circling the drain, I'm now about 90% back to normal.) I remember the day, after a couple years of Rife and S & C and good detox regimen, when it dawned on me that my worst day at the time was better than my best day before I'd begun to fight Lyme. Slow and steady wins this race. It's a long slow marathon, but there is a finish line. Just keep in mind that patience is the one attribute you want to cultivate, and try not to pay much attention to fear. Knowledge will dispell that, and there's plenty of that here. Be well,Léna Jim, Thanks for the welcome....I think :) Yes, I got bit while we lived in NY in 1997..I had been taken to the hospital with extremely high fever 105.7 and stayed for a week while they tried to get the fever down. I did have Lyme tests done, but were negative..but I always wondered. After that I did not have any overwhelming symptoms..just the general aches and pains that I chalked up to aging. So, yes, if that is when I did contract Lyme, or through my husband, I infected my two youngest (8 and 2 1/2)girls. So, now I need to treat them as well. I am currently on 3 grams of the salt/c and am doing my first rife session tonight! Ack! I am nervous...cause I know there's no turning back. I hear how brave (and very sick) all of you are, so that is inspirational to hear how you all endure all the pains and sufferings in search of a better quality of life. Yes, I am very functional....I guess....lol > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ** > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I have three of my sons using the DC machine.
