why boys more than girls...

this is my pet theory and I am not a medical professional (lol) but the process

of microchirism (sic) where the body (mother and baby) spend years clearing the

cells of the other after birth (and thus can be a trigger for autoimmune in

women) was explained to me as more severe in birth of males because the cells

are " more different " than the mothers cells. Keep in mind there is a gender

role in autoimmune, for example lupus strikes women more but the few me it does

more severely etc....

Anyway, this triggering of autoimmunity is more pronounced in the BOY/MOM

relationship and that is one reason i think there are more boys than girls.

Dr Kartinzel is working with McCarthy and things he said

reminded me alot of what Dr G says. He also has a son with Autism
