Guest guest
Is the CDC taking a small first step away from a " one-size-fits-all " vaccination policy? (1) Data from a survey of vaccinated vs unvaccinated are available (2). An increasingly frustrated Dan Olmsted considers autism and various diseases among Amish (3). As I read segments of the Chicago Tribune's excellent series about flame retardants (4), I couldn't help but think that similar distortions of science - on behalf of marketing - occur in many other fields. P. A. Ioannidis' 2005 paper sheds light on " wiggle room " in published studies (5). Nonetheless, seemingly sane science continues to have worthy moments (6). // 1. */Revised Recommendations for Vaccines Are Being Phased In, CDC Report Says/* Can vaccines be more useful for some people than for others? http://www.forbes.com/sites/gerganakoleva/2012/05/11/revised-recommendations-for\ -vaccines-are-being-phased-in-cdc-report-says/ 2. */Unvaccinated Children Less Likely to have Asthma or Allergies/* http://www.alignlife.com/articles/asthma/Unvaccinated_Children_Less_Likely_to_ha\ ve_Asthma_or_Allergies.html [see data at] http://www.vaccineinjury.info/vaccinations-in-general/health-unvaccinated-childr\ en/survey-results-illnesses.html 3. */The Amish All Over Again/* By Dan Olmsted http://www.ageofautism.com/2012/05/dan-olmsted-the-amish-all-over-again.html 4. */Chemical companies, Big Tobacco and the toxic products in your home/* [flame retardants] http://media.apps.chicagotribune.com/flames/index.html 5. */Why most published research findings are false./* Ioannidis JP.
