Guest guest
Since a precipitating event around Aug 1, 2010, and into the spring of 2011, my opinion was that I had an injured back either not healing or very slow to heal. Finally this June, I went to Salud Clinic in Estes Park. A CT scan report linked below found evidence of a small stroke, a lacunar infarct in my right basal ganglia. This finding is consistent with my symptoms: impaired muscle control in left leg and left arm, which contributes to mild impairments of gait and balance. Medical terms for my symptoms include atypical Parkinson's and vascular parkinsonism. The stroke's underlying pathology may have been atherosclerosis, which led to my brain's adverse event. A contributing factor is likely to have been my body's pre-diabetic metabolism of glucose, carbohydrates, and starches. This pathway too is being evaluated at Salud. Luckily, language areas were spared, and I'm still able to live alone. By mid-Spring, I was amid rearranging my situation and soon realized I couldn't lift and carry what used to be so easy. Being gimpy takes some getting used to. Since this is OT, writing me directly is fine: Binstock more info: http://ravenintellections.com/aging67.htm http://ravenintellections.com/CT_scan.pdf *//*
