PFCs are associated with attention and behavior problems in

children, suggest a pair of studies published online in June.

These studies are some of the first to explore the relationship

between PFC compounds and behavior problems, specifically

attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and impulsive

behavior. A variety of products use PFCs during manufacturing, and

the compounds are present in just about everyone.
