We switched from Valtrex to Famvir once and his numbers went up, and

Dr G felt the Valtrex worked better and switched back.

Thank you ! At this point, Dr. G hasn't contacted me to do change

anything. I should get the blood results today or tomorrow so I will

contact him then and ask. Dr. G thought her ears looked dull but a

tampanogram was fine. She also has more circles under her eyes even though

her Spring allergies seem better than usual. Do you think this could all

be related? Boy, figuring out our kids is such a puzzle!

Yes I do think it could all be related.

Our ENT explained the dark circles or " allergy shiners " to me so it

finally makes sense.

She said that when nose or eye area is highly allergic the blood

vessels swell and are more visible at the surface of the skin...the

dark circles.

This allergy season has been our best ever...I thank the Astelin 2

times a day.
