Guest guest Posted April 27, 2006 Report Share Posted April 27, 2006 One thing mentioned to us by a microbiologist once.... viruses mutate and can mutate in such a fashion as to no longer be detected by the HHV6 test. So a negative HHv6 test may or may not be accurate. (I know this sounds so negative!) I think about this often because my sons HHv6 number has been great for over a year, but I wonder if it really is...not to be a pessimist, I guess I just worry too much! > > > >Thank you so much, everyone, for your insight and advice.
