Can you please comment on Fast Forward? I was performing an Independent Expert

Evaluation for a patient and the School Psych said Fast Forward doesn't work...

Of course the feedback I get from my patients is that it is extremely useful,

but I am not a Speech Pathologist and can't speak to that. I would appreciate

any feedback, research, etc... from your expertise. Thank you in advanced!

I can't give you any firsthand experience (I know, you weren't asking

me anyway!) but I can tell you that our school district won't use

*any* program that hasn't been clinically studied within the school

setting, which FF has not. So they will definitely tell you that it

doesn't work anyway. From other parents, I hear mostly good things.

Thanks Cheryl. What you said is exactly the problem- school districts making

blanket statements about services that do or can in fact work. Services that

could eventually be in the schools helping our children. Research doesn't

become evidence if it isn't conducted. School Districts drive me insane!!!
