Cysts don't exactly do 'nothing. They abide; they hide. I've been under the impression from all that I've read that the cyst form can remain in hiding for 6 to 20 years, and when it inevitably comes out of cyst form, it can then be 5 spirochetes instead of 1. (Hatching 'slowly'?) Dunno. I wouldn't trade one spirochete for 5; doesn't seem like a good bargain. I've seen enough severely relapsed Lymies (after long abx) not to want to go that route. I suppose you could try to keep them in hiding forever, but...I had Lyme for over 40 years, and for many of them, thought I was fine,(they were just hiding) with just some symptoms here and there that never connected. Eventually, with time, aging, and some dramatic stressors in my life, the wheels fell off the wagon.Lyme isn't so forgiving.Be well,Léna Hi all, I was thinking over what treatment plan I want to use for spirochetes, cysts, wall-deficient bacteria and suddenly it dawned on me, so what if I use osmotic shock, heat, rife, silver, whatever, to injure the spirochetes and cause them to form cysts. If I end up with a lot of cysts, but few spirochetes in my blood, the cysts actually do NOTHING (I think). The only danger is when they "hatch"...so if I continually keep them at bay, I should eventually feel better and know that cysts don't replicate or cause sickness and with time, continually using heat, whatever, as they slowly "hatch" I just might get better! Is this thinking correct? Maybe I'm not understanding something here? I'd love to get some feedback! Thank you to everyone who contributes to this site. It's been a wealth of information to me. Hope we all get well soon,
