Having a weak immune system is pretty obvious to those of us with kids that are

sick with every little virus that comes along. Often though, there is another

subset of kids, those that have immune systems are always turned on and hyped

up. These are the kids that never get sick, but infact do suffer from alot of

the same things the kids with the weak immune system. A friend has three

children with autism, one who gets sickly at the slightest virus, the second

child who never gets sick, and the third is somewhere in between. Interestingly,

all three have the same issues with hhv6 and pandas. It could be your son is

like this womans one son who has a hyped up immune system that does not regulate

to " normal " ranges.

Temp of 97.?

I have been going over my son's records and I wanted to ask a

question. My son's normal temp is 97.? (has been 1-8 that I have

seen). Only when he is sick is it higher. He als did not get sick as

a child very often. I think his first cold was at 18months. He had

other stuff but not sick. Currently he is the last one in the house to

come down with anything and if he does its usually something very

strong, not just a cold. Does that mean anything? Has anyone ever

heard any thing about someone like this. I know this seems like an odd

question but I am looking at everything.
