Guest guest
My daughter occasionally gets a swollen, flushed face and a slight fever. I mentioned it to her pediatrician last year and she said not to worry about it unless it got much worse. This just happened last weekend and she was more tuned out than usual. Could this be related to auto-immunity. It is confusing because we haven't changed anything. It started when we started her on a medication for congenital hyperinsulinism but not right away so it is hard to tell if there is a link. When we started the medication she had a rash all over her body that the doctors believed was a drug rash and that eventually went away. Could the medication have tipped of an auto-immune reaction. Guest guest
.. Now that I have a date confimed I'm questioning myself about doing this but I know it will be well worth it once I heal up. I hope you all have a wonderful day. from NH > > , don't worry, you will do fine. My pain lasted for about 2 weeks after the implant but everyone is different. The incision between my shoulder blades was the worse, it hurt like the dickens when I laid down on it but the battery incision wasn't bad at all. The most important thing to remember is DO NOT BEND, STRETCH, TWIST, or anything like that, you don't want the leads to go out of place. I didn't drive for over a month because driving can twist your back too, try looking over your shoulder to back up, lol. Be very very careful about the restrictions your doc puts you on and follow them. This is the most important thing you can do for yourself. I had my hubby on stand by, he reached up to get me a glass or bent over to put my shoes on for me, anything that involved any movement in my back, I asked him to do for me. He's a sweetheart. Don't worry, it's normal to be nervous and normal to question your decision but I think you will be glad you did this. Sending prayers and wishes for less painful days ahead.
