hi christine,i was just starting the lda shots when i discovered lyme.   after talking to many other patients in the office i found that the shots really work.  i did not know it did not work with lyme patients, but i did't know i had lyme when i started them.  you can keep the coil up while you do the shots, but other protocols will have to wait through the 3 days you have to watch you diet.  and i think, there were somethings that had to be eliminated for a week after the shot?  i couldn't take the steroids like i was suppose to.  sleep is a problem and with the steroids there was no sleep at all and i would be so wound up i just couldn't do it.  had been on them before and knew what they did to me.

not sure of this, but i think it has been said that when we reduce the bacterial load some of the allergies clear up.  can someone confirm or reject this info????  i opted to forgo the shots and go after the real cause of my health issues.

i have a 30 yr. history of fibro, when was probably lyme.  got really sick in early 2000's, spent yrs from dr to dr. for symptoms, then found my own diagnosis on the internet.  i also have bart and babs and several other co infections.  you might want to ck for co infections also.  i took the abx route so had to quit the shots. i did 18 mos. on multiple abx and other meds to fight these infections and ended up sicker.  i then got a doug coil.  it does kill, you will know that when you herx.  but it is a long haul, no matter what protocol you take.  problem is many give up.  also, i found i needed more than one treatment type. the coil targets just one bug at a time, so i went with the mms also to kill a few of everything while a coil.

i have a problem with detoxing. i found this to be most important so that has been a focus of mine for the last several months.  there are many talked about here.  i am using the detox tea jim talks about, essiac tea.  also, adding mms has helped me in my eating ability, as i couldn't eat and was loosing a lot of weight. it has killed a lot of 'bugs' in my stomach so far. i think it is now going deeper into my blood stream as i am feeling more herxes. constipation was also a problem, so turned to home colonics and enemas, plus keeping things moving with oxy powder. you can also use high doses of magnesium or vit c. i find i am doing a little better, slowly, but moving in the right direction.

so lets see. detoxing:  with essiac tea. colonics and enemas--sometimes they are coffee enemas.  i am also ordering Glucomannan (clay constipates me more) to help move toxins out of my body.   drinking lots of water

killing:  doug coil for my main killing of the bugs.  i have added mms to aid in the killing.constipation: oxy powder and the colonics and enemas.

herbs: milk thistle for liver detox.

i have to keep it simple or will get overwhelmed. i'm sure.

there are lots of people using many different things here so ck them all out and see what will work best for you.barbara

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to post my story, in case anyone is interested.

I began developing food allergies 5 years ago. I traced it to 2 episodes of

latex exposure and extreme allergic reactions and learned that latex can

cross-relate to all food groups. So I thought that was my diagnosis. But a lot

of things didn't make sense. Multiple doctors couldn't believe I was reacting

to so many foods. I found LDA food shots and began on them 2 years ago.

They've kept me alive...2 years ago I was starving...reacting to every food.

But the shots also make me develop allergies, so I'm on a see-saw diet, and

still don't know if I'm getting over my food allergies or just barely

surviving....I usually don't have enough calories to eat. Enough of that part

of the story.

2 weeks ago my general practitioner out of the blue said he was going to do a

Lyme titer test on me. That started me thinking. All along I've known I was

exposed to Lymes because from the time I was 12 to 18 I would often be bit by

ticks and once I had the bulls-eye rash for about 1 1/2 weeks, then developed

arthritis type symptoms in my knees occasionally. It went away after a few

years and I lived a healthy life until the food allergies.

Well, after doing some reading, I realized it doesn't matter if the Lyme titer

test is positive or negative, the bulls-eye rash, multiple tick bites and all

the immunological problems I currently have point to lymes.

Now I just need to figure out what to do about it. Unfortunately, I am sooooo

allergic to all foods, that I doubt whether I would tolerate any of the

recommended herbs....or if I did, it wouldn't be long until I became allergic to

them also.

I think rife would be great...but I have no experience with electrical

things....I know someone who could give some help, but even then, to buy the

parts for the Doug coil would be out of question.

And, I'm still not sure if I believe that rife is very effective. I keep trying

to find personal success stories with rife, but haven't found too many.

Besides, at least in my case, I would have told everyone I got over Lymes as a

kid, but the truth is, people can think they are over it, but it's still hiding

out.

I think the safest and most economical approach at this point is colloidal

silver. I'm also afraid of developing an allergic reaction to that too, since

I'm allergic to some metals...nickel, gold.

Ughhh...so for the present, my goal is to try to not starve by using LDA food

shots, which unfortunately, have been shown to work for everybody but lymes

patients (I think it's the way the lymes causes an immune response to the shots,

whereas with others it doesn't) and then try to overcome lymes.

I daily think this may be my last day.....for the present I'm at 300 calories a

day and not doing well. But the LDA shot should start working in 12 days, then

I can slowly eat many things I'm allergic to, in moderation.

I just started 5mg Corteff for long term treatment to help with the food

allergies. I know it's not recommended for Lymes, but without it I would be

dead from starvation....and I'm not kidding.
