Guest guest
Non- question- We are in Wisconsin and there is state funded ABA here, but there is a 2 year wait list and my son did not qualify, since he is considered " high functioning " and can be mis-evaluated if not done by a knowledgeable person (which did also happen). He just turned 6 and we did 6 months of ABA 10 hours a week, but could not keep paying for it ourselves when he was rejected for the state program. Is there anyone that started ABA later and saw good results? My son also was " onto it " and how to be when therapists were here then would drop it later. We have felt the need to do something else that we could do ourselves and just started RDI. Has anyone done this or other therapies that did or did not do ABA? Thanks. Guest guest
RDI is pretty expensive to implement--not sure of its effectiveness. Guest guest
Did you try it and not find it effective or heard other stories about it from others?
