Hi kim, please check out these sites.  i'm not sure how long you have been on this combo of drugs, but i know lorazepam, adivan, is comparable to the clonazepam that i was on.  i have posted of my horror story and of it's side effects and almost dieing from withdrawal so i won't go into it again.  if you are interested i can tell you about it.  since then i have become very vocal of it's dangers.  please do some research on the benzo drugs.  i wish i had before i went on it.

the benzo drugs can cause the very symptoms they are suppose to suppress.  i understand the insomnia, that is why they put me on it.  in hind sight, i was healthier without it, and the lasting side effects may take yrs to overcome after being off the drug.  please check out these sites, learn what the drugs they have put you on are doing to you, also the combo of the drugs.  unfortunately they not only don't tell you of the addictive nature of the benzos, but they don't warn you of the effects of combining benzos and antidepressants, either.   see if some of your symptoms match the side effects.  learn about tolerance and dependence.

after a while the side effects are hard to separate from our lyme and cos. symptoms and we assume they are all lyme.  i found out the hard way that some of mine were not lyme, but the drugs.

here are just a few sites. please, if anyone else is on a benzo (xanax, klonipin, clonazepam, valium, adivan, etc.) or z drugs (lunesta, ambian) please take a look.  barbarahttp://abcnews.go.com/Health/DepressionNews/story?id=6354685 & page=1#.Tz2VY1yXS15   --  this one is from ABC News.

i am on lorazepam, webutrin, and prozac. this is for depression too. i had to get up in middle of the night to take a lorazepam last night because my body felt...annoyed...irritated...restless. i am not sure how to explain it but it helped me sleep.
